Yogurt Dumplings

Dahi Phulki is a delightful Indian snack featuring soft, fluffy gram flour dumplings soaked in a creamy, spiced yogurt sauce, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh herbs and a dash of tangy tamarind chutney for a burst of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • Chickpea Flour Fritters 250g
  • Warm Water 1 litre
  • Boiled Chickpeas ½ Cup
  • Boiled Potatoes 1-2
  • ½ Tomato
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Onion
  • ¼ Cabbage
  • Chaat Masala 1 tsp
  • Bowl of Yogurt
  • Water ¼ Cup
  • Mint Leaves 1 Bunch
  • Coriander Leaves ½ Bunch
  • Green Chilies 2-3
  • 1 lemon Juice
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
  • Water 3 tbsp
  • Chili Flakes for garnishing

Step 1

In a large bowl, add chickpea flour fritters also known as phulki. Add water and soak it for 2 hours.

Step 2

Now take our main dish, add boiled chickpeas, potatoes, tomato, onion, cabbage and Chaat masala.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, add yogurt and water. Give it a good mix. Add it to the main dish as per needed.

Step 4

In the blender jug, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, lemon juice, salt, cumin seeds and water. Blend it to a smooth paste. Add it to the main dish.

Step 5

Finally sprinkle some Chilli flakes on the top and Serve.
