Wedding Pot Curry

Savor the essence of traditional South Asian celebrations with Shadi Degi Korma, a rich and aromatic dish featuring tender meat simmered in a luxurious blend of yogurt, spices, and fried onions, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Clarified Butter 1 Cup
  • Onion 3 medium size
  • Whole Spices 1½ tbsp
  • Yogurt 300g
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
  • Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Chili flakes ½ tsp
  • Chicken 750g
  • Water ¼ Cup
  • Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp
  • Pepper ½ tsp

Step 1

In a pan, add Clarified Butter and let it melt. Add onions and fry it until golden brown. Once fried, take it out and make a smooth paste. Now turn off the flame.

Step 2

In the same oil, add whole spices and cook it for a minute. Add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, chili flakes. Mix Well.

Step 3

Add chicken, turn on the flame and cook. Add onion paste, water and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

Now cover and cook for 10 minutes on low flame. Again cover to cook for 5 minutes. Finally add coriander leaves and pepper.
