Ingredients
- 250g chicken strips
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 packs ramen noodles
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 1 tsp mustard paste
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 packet ramen flavouring powder
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Green chillies, for garnish
- Roasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix chicken strips, ginger garlic paste, pepper, salt, chilli powder, and cornstarch. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken strips for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside.
Step 2
In a saucepan, boil 2 cups of water with ramen noodles for 2-3 minutes or until cooked. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
Mix barbecue sauce, mustard paste, soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, and ramen flavouring powder. Pour over cooked ramen noodles and mix well.
Step 4
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Crack an egg and fry until cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Place ramen noodles on a platter. Top with fried chicken strips, fried egg, green chillies, and roasted sesame seeds.
