Ingredients
- 500g Chicken, cut into desired pieces
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Water
- Oil for frying
Step 1
Marination: In a large bowl, combine chicken, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and vinegar. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Batter Preparation: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, pepper, egg, and water to create a thick, smooth batter. Adjust the consistency by adding more water if necessary.
Step 3
Coating Station: Prepare a coating station with a plate of dry flour and the prepared batter.
Step 4
Coating the Chicken: Take a piece of marinated chicken and coat it in the dry flour, shaking off excess. Then, dip the flour-coated chicken into the batter, making sure it's fully coated.
Step 5
Frying: Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the coated chicken pieces until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Step 6
Serving: Serve the crispy chicken hot with your favorite sauce.
