Ingredients
- Chicken 1kg
- Salt 1 tsp
- Pepper 1 tsp
- Greek Yogurt 1 Cup
- Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
- Oil ¼ Cup
- Onion 1 large size
- Green chillies 3-4
- Oil ¼ tsp
- Peppercorns 15-18
- Cloves 5-6
- Cinnamon 1-2
- Star Anise 1
- Green Cardamom 2-3
- Cashew Nuts ¼ Cup
- Milk ¼ Cup
- Cream ½ packet
- Fried onions, Coriander, Lemon Slices for garnishing
Step 1
In a pan, add Chicken. Add salt, pepper, Greek yogurt, ginger garlic paste and oil. Give it a good mix. Now Marinate it for 1 hour or at least 30 minutes. Set it aside.
Step 2
In a blender, add onion and green chillies. Blend it to a smooth paste.
Step 3
In a wok, add oil. Then add Peppercorns, Cloves, Cinnamon, Star anise and Green Cardamom. Cook for half a minute.
Step 4
Then add onion and green chillies mixture. Cook it for 3-4 minutes. After that add marinated chicken and Cook it for 10 minutes on medium-low flame.
Step 5
After 10 minutes, Add water and cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, add cashew nuts and milk in a blender. Blend it to a smooth paste. After 5-7 minutes, add this cashew paste and cream and mix well.
Step 7
Now cook for 4-5 minutes. Add fried onions over the top. Turn off the flame.
Step 8
Serve hot and garnish with some fried onions, Lemon slices and coriander leaves.
