Ingredients
- Oil 1 Cup
- Onion 2 medium size
- Garlic 4-5 cloves
- Ginger 1 inch
- Whole spices 1½ tbsp
- 4 chicken pieces
- Salt 1 tsp
- Chili Powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
- Coriander Powder 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder 1 tsp
- Chili Flakes ½ tsp
- Tomato Paste ½ Cup
- Dried Fenugreek Leaves 1 tbsp
Step 1
In a pan, add oil and let it heat. Add onions, garlic, ginger and cook until golden brown. Once done, set aside and make a smooth paste.
Step 2
In the same oil, add whole spices and cook for a minute. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown. Once done, set it aside.
Step 3
In the same oil, add prepared onion paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add salt, turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli flakes and tomato paste. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Now add chicken and cover to cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. Again cover to cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Finally add dried Fenugreek Leaves and serve hot.
