Chicken Skewers

Savor the flavors of tender chicken shashlik, where juicy marinated chicken pieces are skewered with vibrant bell peppers and onions, then grilled to perfection for a smoky and savory delight.

Ingredients

  • Chicken 500g
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Pepper ½ tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp for frying
  • Carrot ½ Cup
  • Capsicum ½ Cup
  • Onions ½ Cup
  • Water 1 Cup
  • Tomato Ketchup ¼ Cup
  • Soy Sauce 1 tsp
  • Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Cornflour Slurry 1 tsp

Step 1

In a bowl, add Chicken, salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste. Give it a good mix. Add Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin powder and Oil. Mix well.

Step 2

In a pan, add oil. Cook it until golden brown. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add carrot and cook for a minute. Add capsicum and onion and cook 1-2 minutes. Once done, set aside.

Step 3

In a bowl, add Water, Tomato Ketchup, Soy sauce, oyster sauce and Chilli Sauce. Mix it well.

Step 4

Take a pan and add oil. Add chopped garlic and cook for a minute. Then add the prepared Sauce mixture.

Step 5

Add Cornflour Slurry and Mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens. Finally add chicken and turn off the flame.

Step 6

Delicious Chicken Shashlik is ready. Serve with white rice.
