Chicken Bread Roll

Delight in this savory chicken bread, where tender, spiced chicken filling is encased in a soft, golden dough, braided to perfection for a show-stopping centerpiece that is as delicious as it is beautiful.

Ingredients

  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Sugar ½ tsp
  • Warm Water ½ Cup
  • Flour 2 Cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Onion 1 large Size
  • Ground Chicken 400g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Pepper ½ tsp
  • Chilli flakes ½ tsp
  • Capsicum 1 medium size
  • Mozzarella Cheese as required
  • Mayonnaise ½ Cup
  • A beaten Egg
  • Black seeds

Step 1

In a jar, add yeast, sugar and warm luke water. Mix well. Cover and leave it for 10-15 minutes until fermented.

Step 2

In a bowl, add flour, salt and fermented yeast. Mix well and knead a soft and smooth dough. Add Oil and knead well. Now cover the dough with cling wrap and leave it for an hour.

Step 3

In the meantime, take a pan and add Oil. Add chopped garlic and cook for a minute. Add chopped onions and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add ground chicken and cook until its colour changes to white.

Step 4

Add some salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Give it a good mix. Add capsicum and cook for a minute. Then add Cheese and Mayonnaise. Mix well. Now turn off the flame and set it aside.

Step 5

Now remove the wrap from the dough and make small balls. Dust some flour on the counter and flatten the dough. Add the chicken stuffing in the middle. Mark some cuts as shown in the video. And make a braid.

Step 6

Follow each step to make a perfect braid. Now place this bread in a baking pan. Brush eggs on the top surface. Add some black seeds. And bake it for 20-25 minutes at 180°C.

Serve with your favorite sauce.
