Boneless Chicken Pot

Boneless Chicken Handi is a rich, aromatic dish featuring tender chicken pieces simmered in a creamy, spiced tomato sauce, infused with fragrant herbs and cooked in a traditional handi pot for authentic depth of flavor. Perfect for pairing with naan or rice.

Ingredients

  • Chicken 500g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Pepper ½ tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 Cup
  • Oil ¼ Cup
  • Chopped Onion 1 large size
  • 2 Tomato Puree
  • Fenugreek Leaves 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp
  • Chillies 2-3

Step 1

In a bowl, add Chicken. Add salt, coriander powder, cumin seeds, pepper, ginger garlic paste and yogurt. Mix well.

Step 2

In a pan, add oil and let it hot. Add chopped onions and cook for a minute. Add marinated chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes. After that add tomato puree and give it a good mix.

Step 3

Cover the pan with lid and Cook for 12-15 minutes. Cook more until oil separates.

Step 4

Add some fenugreek leaves, garam masala, coriander leaves and chillies. Mix well. Delicious Boneless Chicken Handi is ready to serve.
