Ingredients
- 3 pounds of succulent chicken wings
- A refreshing can of cola soft drink (like Coke®), 12 ounces
- An aromatic sazon seasoning packet (like Goya®), 1.41 ounces
- 1 teaspoon each of zesty dry mustard, fiery cayenne pepper, and savory seafood seasoning (like Old Bay®)
- A hint of celery salt
- Adjustable amounts of sweet light brown sugar and flavorful BBQ seasoning (like McCormick®)
- A cup of fiery hot pepper sauce (like Frank's RedHot®), split
- Don't forget the cooking spray!
Step 1
Blend chicken wings with cola in a spacious bowl and let them soak in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 2
Create a flavorful rub by combining sazon seasoning, mustard, cayenne pepper, seafood seasoning, celery salt, brown sugar, and BBQ seasoning in a separate bowl.
Step 3
After marinating, drain the wings and discard the cola. Toss the wings with 1/2 cup of hot sauce before coating them with the rub thoroughly.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (218 degrees C) and prepare a broiler pan by greasing it with cooking spray.

Bake the wings for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Flip them and continue baking until they turn crispy, which should take about 20 more minutes.
Step 6
Once done, toss the wings with the remaining hot sauce and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
