- 5 pounds of chicken wings, separated at the joints with tips removed
- 1 cup of spicy wing sauce
- 1 pound of carrots, cut into stick shapes
- 6 ribs of celery, also cut into stick shapes
- 2 cups of creamy blue cheese dressing
Step 1
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously spray a baking sheet with cooking spray for an easy cleanup.

Next, in a spacious pot or a deep fryer, warm up some vegetable oil until it reaches a temperature of 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for that perfect crispy result.
Step 3
After giving the wings a good rinse in a colander and thoroughly patting them dry with paper towels, proceed to deep-fry them in small batches until they are partially cooked, which should take around 10 minutes per batch. Allow the wings to rest on paper towels to absorb excess oil and cool down a bit. Then, give them a second fry until they turn a beautiful golden brown, typically 6 to 8 minutes per batch. Once done, drain them again on fresh paper towels.
Step 4
Transfer the crispy wings into a large mixing bowl and generously coat them with your preferred hot wing sauce. Using tongs, carefully place the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. For that extra flavor, brush the wings with any remaining wing sauce.
Step 5
Pop the baking sheet in the preheated oven and let the wings bake until their surface is almost dry, which usually takes around 15 minutes. When ready, present the wings on platters alongside some crunchy carrot sticks, refreshing celery sticks, and a side of creamy blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy the deliciousness!
