Step 1
In a spacious mixing bowl, blend together ground bison, an egg, crushed crackers, flavorful Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a dash of coarse salt. Get your hands in there to shape the mixture into 4 generously sized burger patties. Once done, carefully lay them on a plate lined with wax paper and pop them into the refrigerator until you're all set to cook.

An instant-read thermometer should register a minimum of 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius) when inserted into the thickest part of the patty.

Once the burgers are almost ready, turn off the grill. Top each patty with 2 slices of crispy bacon and a slice of gooey Cheddar cheese. Close the lid and allow the cheese to melt beautifully for about a minute.
