Ingredients
- ½ package of dry fettuccine pasta (16 ounces)
- ¼ cup of mayonnaise
- ¼ cup of Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons of heavy cream
- 4 cloves of minced garlic

- Salt and ground black pepper, to your liking
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- ½ pound of medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup of dry white wine
- Juice of ½ a lime
- Optional: A pinch of red pepper flakes to taste
Step 1
In a generously sized pot, fill it with water and a pinch of salt, then heat until it's bubbling vigorously. Drop the fettuccine into the pot and let it simmer until it's perfectly tender but still has a bite, usually around 8 minutes.
Step 2
While the pasta is bubbling away, take a medium-sized bowl and blend together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, cream, garlic, Sriracha sauce, paprika, along with a pinch of salt and pepper to season.

Next, in a spacious nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt some butter. Toss in the shrimp, a splash of wine, and a squeeze of lime juice. Stir and cook until the shrimp transition to a lovely color, this usually takes about 3 to 4 minutes.

Once the fettuccine is ready, drain it and reserve about 2 tablespoons of the pasta water. Combine the pasta water with the shrimp, then add the mayonnaise concoction and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Toss in the cooked fettuccine, ensuring it's thoroughly coated in the creamy sauce. Finally, distribute the pasta among the serving bowls.
