Step 1

Step 3
Prepare the chicken breasts by seasoning them with grill seasoning and placing them in a shallow glass dish. Pour most of the cooled sauce over the chicken, reserving 1 cup for later use. Marinate the chicken covered in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a deep skillet until it is crispy and brown. Set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Step 4
Now, preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Remove the marinade from the chicken and grill it, while basting with the reserved sauce, until the chicken is cooked through, typically 10 minutes per side. Simultaneously, brush onion slices with olive oil and grill them indirectly for about 15 minutes, securing the rings with toothpicks.
Step 5
For serving, place the grilled chicken on plates and top each piece with grilled onions, bacon slices, and a slice of provolone cheese. Remember to remove the toothpicks before serving.
