Ingredients
- For Chicken Stuffing: Chicken 500g
- Yogurt ½ Cup
- Salt ½ tsp
- Pepper ½ tsp
- Paprika ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Chaat Masala ½ tsp
- Chilli Powder ½ tsp
- Chilli Flakes ½ tsp
- Coriander Powder ½ tsp
- Oregano ½ tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Chopped Garlic 1 tbsp
- Tomato ½ Cup
- Capsicum ½ Cup
- Onions ½ Cup
- Assembling: Pita/Shawarma Bread as required (need 2 breads for 1 sandwich)
- Mozzarella cheese
- Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
- Tomato Paste 1 tbsp
- Chilli Flakes & Oregano
- Topping with Capsicum And Olives
Step 1
Take a bowl, add chicken, yogurt, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin seeds, coriander Powder, chilli powder, chilli flakes, chaat masala, oregano. Give it a good mix. Marinate it for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Now in a pan, add oil about 2 tbsp. Add chopped garlic and Sauté it for 1-2 minutes. Add marinated Chicken and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Then add tomatoes, Capsicum, onions and mix it well. Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Now turn off the flame and set it aside.
Step 4
Now on a griddle, Add about ½ tsp of oil. Toast the Pita/Shawarma Bread from both sides until golden brown.
Step 5
On a baking dish, place the bread, spread mayonnaise evenly. Then add chicken stuffing. Add cheese and place the second bread. Add tomato paste on top. Add some more cheese, sprinkle chilli flakes and oregano. Top with capsicum and olives. Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C.
