Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon of salt
- freshly ground black pepper to your liking
- 1 tablespoon of spicy pepper sauce
- 1 cup of frozen corn kernels
- ½ cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
Step 1
In a slow cooker, meld the flavors of succulent pork, ripe tomatoes, zesty green chiles, sweet yams, aromatic onion, piquant garlic, earthy cumin, fragrant oregano, a hint of salt, a dash of black pepper, and a touch of hot pepper sauce. Let it simmer gently on Low heat for 6 to 7 hours until the pork reaches a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.
Step 2
After the slow cook, stir in the vibrant frozen corn, cover it again, and let it heat through for an additional 10 to 15 minutes to infuse all the flavors. For a delicious finish, top it off with a generous sprinkle of sharp shredded Cheddar cheese before serving.
